Serving at camp is an amazing experience. It is an opportunity to be used by God and grown in your faith! The staff who volunteer at camp throughout the summer are indispensable! Every year, we look forward to seeing who God will bring to camp and how He will use them for His service.

Summer Staff at PVBC work by the week to help with camps throughout the summer.  Jobs for Summer Staff range from counselors to lifeguards to arts and crafts.  All Summer Staff are given free meals, housing and staff shirts. Summer Staff serve on a volunteer basis with the exception of counselors. There are opportunities for staff members to raise their own "support" (like missionaries), and interested applicants can inquire for more information.

Summer Staff are required to attend our Summer Staff Orientation in June to receive training in camp policies, procedures, safety protocols, child behavior management skills, and more.  During this time we will also be offering lifeguard training for those who need to get or renew their life-guarding certifications.  Staff will be also be trained in CPR/First Aid.
